Whitemoney Reveals That His Money Took Him Far Not Fans

Hazel Oyeze Onou, also known as Whitemoney, was the winner of the Big Brother Naija “Shine Ya Eye” edition.

In the All Stars version of the reality program, he boasted that his money, not his followers, got him far.

The reality TV star turned musician stated that he received only 2% of the votes from fans in a chat with YouTuber Olufemi Daniel. He said that before appearing on the show, he paid his colleagues money to vote for him.

Whitemoney clarified that he was not surprised by his ouster from the reality TV show because he had anticipated losing.

He said, “I wasn’t shocked [when I got evicted] because I knew I wouldn’t win. I was the one who gave money to my team to keep subscribing. My money took me that far. People’s voting was just two per cent, my money took me that far.”

Meanwhile, Whitemoney has revealed that his colleague, Phyna, has received her remaining prizes from the organisers and sponsors of the reality TV show.

Money isn’t everything but everything requires money.
