17-Year-Old Boy Massacres His Parents And Brother In Rampage

A 17-year-old Italian teenager murdered his parents and younger brother in a horrific knife attack just hours after the family celebrated his father’s 51st birthday.

The teenager from Paderno Dugnano near Milan, Italy, confessed to the horrific killings on Sunday, telling investigators: “There is no real reason why I killed them. I felt like a foreign body in my family. Oppressed. I thought that by killing them all I would free myself from this discomfort.”

According to local media, the boy originally gave investigators a made-up story about witnessing his father, Fabio Chiarioni, 51, murder his mother, Daniela Albano, 49, and brother, 12, before taking a knife and stabbing him.

The 17-year-old told detectives that he visited his brother’s room on the second floor of the family home and discovered Chiarioni seated on a chair with the knife next to him.

Before launching his attack on his father, he told officers that his mother’s body was on the ground by his father’s feet and that his sibling had died in his bed.

The boy then told detectives that he had sensed ‘discomfort’ among his family, and that these feelings had flared up just a few hours after the family celebrated Chiarioni’s 51st birthday.

He reportedly stated that he had been planning the murders ‘for a while,’ according to Il Messaggero.

The boy described how, around 2 a.m. on Sunday, he got a huge kitchen knife and assaulted his younger brother, thrusting the weapon into him at least ten times.

He then launched a vicious attack on his parents, who were also present in his brother’s room, but the younger sibling was discovered to have the most stab wounds.

The teen called authorities immediately following the brutal killings, claiming that he had knifed his father to death.

L’unione Sarda reported the boy had told authorities: “I killed my dad, come,” following the attack.

When officers arrived outside the family house, they discovered the 17-year-old on the pavement in his underwear, his bare back covered in blood.

He apparently held the blood-soaked knife in his hand until the cops arrived, at which point he dropped it to the ground.

Officers then discovered the parents and brother dead in their nightgowns in the brother’s room.

Speaking to investigators during his confession, he said: “I realized it a minute later. I understood that it was not by killing them that I would be freed.”

According to Ansa, the child has been detained for his murdering spree after being questioned all day Sunday by investigators led by Milan juvenile prosecutor Sabrina Ditaranto.

According to judicial officials, the motivation for the triple homicide remains unknown.

“It will be necessary to wait for a long time before explaining such an atrocious gesture,” they said.

Ditaranto said during a press conference Sunday: “The boy understood that he had done something irreversible, he expressed his own discomfort, not related to the family.

“From a judicial point of view, we do not have a technically valid motive. From a sociological and psychological point of view obviously, the investigations are open.”
