2023: Wike, Makinde, Ortom, and Others Reportedly In Enugu To Discuss Peter Obi

Five governors of the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), reportedly gathered on Sunday in Enugu State in advance of the February 2023 presidential elections.

According to insiders, the topic of conversation was how to elect Mr. Peter Obi, the presidential candidate for the Labour Party, in 2023.

The governors are Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi of Enugu State, Samuel Ortom of Benue State, Nyesom Wike of Rivers State, Seyi Makinde of Oyo State, and Okezie Ikeazu of Abia State.

The insider claims that the five governors were persuaded to support Peter Obi’s campaign because they were uneasy supporting Atiku Abubakar, the PDP’s candidate.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
