Nollywood veteran actress Bimbo Akintola has opened up about her choice to stay single in the face of social pressure.
In an interview with coworker Emmanuel Ehumadu (Labista), Bimbo discussed her personal experiences and opinions on love, relationships, and marriage.
She also mentioned how the person she loved was deceased and that she hadn’t found a replacement for him yet. When asked about her plans to get married again, Bimbo brought up her past heartbreaks, saying that they had shaped her perspective on commitment.
She emphasized how she is unwilling to enter into a “forever” relationship with someone who isn’t equally committed.
She also affirmed her belief that marriage is a beautiful, sacred union but expressed disillusionment with its shortcomings.
