Adekunle Gold Opens Up About His Last Cry While Watching Deja…..

The well-known Nigerian artist Adekunle Gold talked about a personal incident that brought him to tears.

In a podcast, the “Many People” crooner disclosed that he hasn’t shed a tear since a few months ago while strolling down the street, saying it was an emotional moment for him when he watched his daughter Deja perform via video conference for the first time.

He said: “When was the last time I cried? That was the last time I cried. Like two, three months ago. Do you remember what it was about? Oh yeah, Deja was performing and I wasn’t there, so they called me on video. So they called, showed me, and it was her first performance.

“I’m like, nah, this is crazy. It’s like the price you have to pay for building and doing this thing that you have to do, and also, of course, looking after your family.

“Yeah, that’s one of the reasons I wrote ‘My Love is the Same.’ I wouldn’t know what people go through. It’s crazy. Throwing it down, being confident, I’m like, oh damn, I wish I was there. Yeah, I started to cry.”

To the most wonderful dad and daughter duo, may your bond grow stronger with each passing day. Cherish every moment, for they are the memories that last a lifetime.
