Amosun Demolished My Cement Plant In Ogun Twice — Dangote

Aliko Dangote, the head of the Dangote Group, has pointed fingers at Senator Ibikunle Amosun, the ex-Governor of Ogun State, alleging that he ordered the destruction of his cement facility on two occasions while he was in office.

Dangote voiced this accusation during a discussion with the present governor of the state, Prince Dapo Abiodun, which took place on Monday, March 17, 2025.

A press release from the Ogun State Government indicated that the conversation between Dangote and Governor Abiodun centered on broadening prospects for investment in areas like manufacturing, oil and gas, and energy throughout the state.

Nevertheless, a video that emerged on social platforms captured Dangote recounting his ordeal under the Amosun regime, claiming that his cement plant was torn down twice while it was being built.

Dangote stated, “I deem it fit to have it on record that the factory we are visiting now in Itori, it’s because of his excellency that we came back. That factory was demolished twice. We started building, then Amosun demolished it, the second time, we started again, he demolished not only the factory, including the fencing, so we left. But right now, we’re coming back because of his excellency, my brother, Prince Dapo Abiodun, we’re now back. When we go there you’ll be very surprised.”

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
