Another Woman Almost Killed For Blasphemy In The North, Christian Properties Destroyed (See Video)
Yet another case of religious feud in Northern Nigeria as Irate Muslim youths reportedly went in pursuit of a lady suspected of blasphemy in Bauchi State, allegedly injuring a pastor and burning down multiple homes in the process.
This is just a few weeks after Deborah Samuel, a student of Sokoto’s Shehu Shagari College of Education, was lynched and set ablaze by her schoolmates for allegedly blaspheming the Prophet Mohammed.
According to reports, the lady published a video on social media in which a convert discussed the Prophet of Islam.
The lady, who is a civil servant from Gombe, married in Bauchi’s Warji local government district.
After Juma’at prayers on Friday, May 20, Muslim teenagers began a manhunt, in search of the woman. When they couldn’t find her, they went on a rampage in the Katangan area of Bauchi State’s Warji Local Government Area, destroying many buildings and properties belonging to Christians.
The Muslim youths are claimed to have harmed a number of Christians, including a pastor from the ECWA church.
