Antonio Conte Gives Conditions For Joining PSG Next Season

Antonio Conte, the manager of Tottenham Hotspur, who showed interest in coaching at Paris Saint-Germain, has set his criteria for taking over from Mauricio Pochettino.

Despite winning the Ligue 1 title last weekend, Pochettino is set to exit the club.

The PSG manager has failed to win over fans and also failed to get past the Champions League’s last 16.

Despite reports that PSG has chosen Zinedine Zidane as their preferred replacement for Pochettino, Conte has volunteered his services to the club.

Although the Italian coach only joined Tottenham in November, he has raised doubts about his long-term future at the club as his deal with the Premier League club expires in 2023.

Antonio Conte is willing to take over at the Parc des Princes, according to French radio station RMC Sport, but he has a list of highly exacting requirements that PSG must agree to.

The former Inter Milan manager wants virtually quadruple his salary, €30 million (£25.2 million) every year. This will make him the world’s second-highest-paid manager, behind Diego Simeone of Atletico Madrid.

He also seeks to bring his coaching team, including his own sporting director, with him. He also wants more transfer control than any of the club’s prior managers in the last decade.
