APC Chieftain; Dele Omosehin Declares Intention For House of Representatives, Launches New Movement

In an exciting political development, Dele Omosehin, a well-respected chieftain of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ondo State, has officially announced his candidacy for the Okitipupa/Irele Federal Constituency seat in the upcoming 11th National Assembly.

During a dynamic two-day political tour through the Okitipupa and Irele Local Government Areas on Wednesday, Omosehin passionately shared his vision with constituents as he kicked off his early campaign for the 2027 general elections.

Reflecting on his decision, he expressed, “After extensive discussions with party leaders and community stakeholders, I have wholeheartedly accepted the overwhelming call to represent the voices of Okitipupa/Irele in the House of Representatives.” His commitment to listen to the concerns of elders, leaders, and the people was clear—a testament to his dedication and humility.

In an inspiring move, Omosehin also introduced the Asejere Movement, a political initiative he describes as a beacon of peace, prosperity, and governance centered around the people. “The Asejere Movement is not just a campaign slogan; it’s a pledge to usher in a new era of inclusive representation and leadership focused on delivering results,” he said.

With a rallying cry echoing from Okitipupa to Irele, Omosehin affirmed, “A new political dawn has emerged, and I, HRH Dele Omosehin, am at the forefront of this movement to restore dignity, unity, and development in Ondo South.” His vision promises to invigorate the constituency and foster a sense of hope for the future.
