Arsenal Agrees To Deal For Brighton’s Winger Leandro Trossard

Arsenal have reportedly made full agreements with Brighton and Hove Albion FC for the transfer of winger Leandro Trossard.

The deal, which was concluded on Thursday evening, will cost £27 million, with Add-ons included.

the North London club quickly reached an agreement with Brighton and finalized personal terms with the player for a long-term contract following rumours that Arsenal was interested in the Belgian midfielder on Thursday morning.

The player’s medical tests are scheduled to begin as soon as possible in London, and the move is expected to be finalized by Saturday, Prior to Arsenal’s Premier League match against Manchester United on Sunday,

Chelsea swooped in with a €100 million offer only four days ago to hijack a deal for Mykhailo Mudryk, a former winger for Shakhtar Donetsk, who was about to be acquired by Premier League rivals and table-toppers Arsenal.

Mudryk had been on Arsenal’s radar since last year, and last Thursday, they made a €95 million bid for the Ukrainian winger, which included a €70 million cost and €25 million in add-ons.

In an unexpected turn of events, transfer expert Fabrizio Romano revealed exclusively on Saturday night that the Chelsea board had flown to Poland in an effort to verbally agree with Shakhtar to hijack the deal from Arsenal. The verbal agreement was later finalized and sealed in a matter of days.
