Ayra Starr Shares Her Thoughts On Loving Two People At Once

Oyinkansola Sarah Aderibigbe, better known by her stage name Ayra Starr, is a Nigerian singer who has talked candidly about how she would deal with being attracted to someone else while in a committed relationship.

In an episode of her Ask Ayra Starr show, the Afrobeats artist offered her viewpoint in response to a woman who was looking for relationship guidance.

The woman’s inquiry centered on a scenario that can be challenging for individuals in relationships: what should one do if they unexpectedly discover that someone else is more attractive than their current partner?

“If I’m in a serious relationship with a guy and then I find another guy more attractive, I would break up with him instead of dating both of them at the same time,” she said.

“I don’t think you can love two people,” she added, advising people who find themselves in such situations to step away from relationships temporarily and take time to understand what they truly want.

Whether it’s possible to love two people at the same time is a big question—and a great topic for discussion. People may have different views, but perhaps there will always be something that makes one person feel especially unique and different. What do you think: can you truly love two people at once?
