Betty Irabor Talks About Her Experience After Attending The Pink October Tea Party In Doha

Columnist and Genevieve Magazine founder Betty Irabor shared her experience at the NHN Pink October afternoon tea party in Doha, Qatar, on Instagram.

Throughout the ceremony, social media was buzzing about everything from the women’s outstanding wardrobe selections to May Yul Edochie’s speech that brought everyone to tears.

At the women’s event hosted by NHN Couture, Betty Irabor, the keynote speaker, discussed the depth of the pain that many people bear.

According to Ms. Irabor, one of the participants “gave her experience of grief” during the From Pain to Purpose event, and “there were no dry eyes in the room.

“No one heals when consumed by hate, anger, rage, revenge and victim mentality,” Betty Irabor wrote.

“These high impact women leaders understood this principle & embraced the healing processes,” she added. “They shed the dead weight & decided to travel light. They trusted God to restore! They got up and turned that pain to purpose and profit.”

She further spoke about how people can help one another while dealing with pain.

Emotional pain cannot kill you, but running from it can. Allow. Embrace. Let yourself feel. Let yourself heal.

Live with Purpose, Love with Passion. Remember to be happy
