The US rapper Cardi B has declared who she would be rooting for in the US election of 2024.
The performer declared that she supports Vice President Kamala Harris to represent the Democratic Party in the upcoming US presidential election.
Following President Joe Biden’s debate with Republican Party candidate Donald Trump, Cardi B had previously said that Harris ought to be the Democratic Party’s nominee. She was thrilled to learn that Biden was stepping down and supporting Harris.
Remember when on Sunday, President Joe Biden announced his resignation as the Democratic Party’s nominee in favor of his vice, Kamala Harris, to lead the organization?
Reacting via her X handle, Cardi B wrote: “Aha hahaha let’s go! I told y’all Kamala [Harris] was supposed to be the 2024 candidate… Stop f*ckin playin with me!”
Cardi B had told Rolling Stone in May that she won’t be voting in the November poll if the two major candidates remain incumbent President Joe Biden of the Democratic Party, and his predecessor, Donald Trump of the Republican Party.
She explained that she used to see Trump as “a dire threat”, but under Biden, she felt “layers and layers of disappointment” from what she sees as domestic and foreign mismanagement.
