Do2dtun Calls For Protecting Children from Being Used As Pawns In Divorce Wars

Do2dtun, a well-known figure in the media, has criticized the practice of treating kids like property during divorce and custody battles, claiming it can have long-term negative effects.

The hypeman claimed that the notion that one parent “owns” a child frequently causes conflict and emotional harm for all parties involved in a post shared on X.

“The idea of treating children like a possession or property, or as if you own them in a fight, can eventually become an ultimate undoing. They belong to both parties and have equal rights and responsibilities.”

“One party is allowed to be angry if the other uses them as a pawn or refuses to show up.”

“The part no one tells you: no matter the sacrifice made, sadly, the kids will still choose.”

“Do everything cos you want them to be better, not because you want them to love you only or choose you.”

Using children as pawns in divorce disputes is not only unfair but also deeply harmful. It is never right to involve children in adult conflicts, as they are innocent parties caught in the crossfire.

Many parents underestimate the lasting damage their actions can inflict on their kids’ emotional well-being and development. Instead of using children as tools for revenge or manipulation, adults should prioritize their children’s best interests and seek amicable resolutions.

Protecting children from the turmoil of parental conflicts is essential to ensuring they grow up in a safe and nurturing environment.
