Dogs Attack And Kill A Nigerian Woman, Patricia Masithela In Italy

Patricia Masithela, a 27-year-old Nigerian woman, unfortunately died in Latina, Italy, after being mauled by a gang of hungry dogs.

According to Mirror UK, the event happened late on Monday night while Patricia was paying a visit to a male acquaintance at his deserted property in the Lazio region.

Her cries echoed into the night, warning neighbors about the vicious assault. According to reports, Patricia, who had just come to Lazio from Nigeria, went to the house without realizing her buddy wasn’t there.

After the incident, she was found laying in a pool of blood, severely wounded throughout her body.

Police, however, intervened, “shooting two of the dogs to allow emergency responders to access the scene, while the rest of the pack fled after the gunfire.”

Emergency medics provided immediate treatment and rushed Patricia to Santa Maria Goretti Hospital, but despite their efforts, she succumbed to her severe injuries and blood loss.

She succumbed to severe bite wounds and excessive blood loss, despite their efforts to save her.

Patricia, a devoted mother to a five-year-old daughter, has left her family and friends in unimaginable grief, Mirror UK reports.

It was gathered that investigations into the incident are ongoing as local authorities work to determine how the reportedly starving dogs came to be in the area.

However, the incident has spurred conversations about public safety and stray animals, with locals demanding more stringent regulations to stop similar tragic events.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
