Eko Hotels Theatre To Stage Four Productions In July

Eko Hotels Theatre returns in July with ‘The Jewel: The Musical’; ‘Mary: The Musical’; ‘Prideland 2 & 3’; and ‘The Return of King Bafa’.

Eko Hotels Theatre returns in July 2026 with a new season of stage productions at Eko Hotels & Suites in Lagos. The programme brings together four theatrical works scheduled across the month.

 

The season opens with The Jewel: The Musical, showing on 4th and 5th July at 6PM. It is set in a futuristic city called Fortis in the year 2100. The story follows a young woman whose presence begins to shape a new direction for her society in a world where humans and machines coexist.

Mary: The Musical follows on 11th and 12th July at 6PM. It retells the story of Mary and Joseph, focusing on faith, obedience and purpose through music, drama and stage performance.

Prideland 2 & 3 will be staged on 18th and 19th July with shows at 3PM and 7PM. It continues the story of Queen Fara after a period of war and royal tension. It explores leadership, loyalty and the struggle for peace as old conflicts return and new threats emerge.

The season closes with The Return of King Bafa. It follows a return of old enemies and a younger generation forced to confront identity, courage and responsibility in the face of rising conflict.

 

Tickets for all shows are priced at ₦35,000 and are available through the official Eko Hotels Theatre platform.
