Enioluwa Adeoluwa comforted her with heartfelt words in an Instagram post.
Tomike Adeoye buried her mother in the presence of her loved ones, close friends, and family yesterday.
He wrote: “I can’t imagine what it is like to lose a mother, but not just any mother—your mother—and still find the strength to show up? That’s not something many of us can do.
Grief does not knock. It slips in—sometimes loud, sometimes quiet—but always certain. It arrives in its own time, in its own form. And when it does, we feel it. In our bones. In our silences. In the places, laughter used to live.
I’ve thought about it before—what it would be like—and honestly, I don’t think I would survive it. But you, my darling cousin, my friend, you have. @tomike_a you’ve held yourself with grace when you had every right to fall apart.
