FA Charges Manchester United For Players Misconduct During Game Against Newcastle United

Manchester United has found themselves in trouble after playing Newcastle United to a scoreless draw over the weekend.

The FA has now filed a complaint against the Red Devils for failing to control their players during the game last Sunday.

The Red Devils’ players surrounded referee Craigh Pawson in a rage after he disallowed what Cristiano Ronaldo believed to be the game’s first goal.

The club has until Thursday to respond to the FA’s claim that Erik ten Hag’s team violated FA Rule E20.1.

Newcastle appeared to be taking a free kick deep within their own half when Fabian Schar passed the ball back to Nick Pope with the apparent intention of the goalkeeper taking the set piece.

Nick Pope, however, did not react as though the match was in play. Ronaldo rushed to get the ball and then scored a goal which the United squad believed should be counted.
