The readings today highlight the theme of faith and faithfulness. Since Moses, God has given faith and called people to live faithfully.
Many see faith as private, but this can lead away from God’s truth. Living a personal religion isn’t the same as being faithful to Christ. Some Catholics prioritize personal opinions over Church teachings, doubting Jesus’ divinity, ignoring moral teachings, or skipping Mass.
Many have separated themselves from authentic belief and practice. We should examine our own faithfulness—do we believe and follow Church teachings? Like Moses’ perseverance, we must build endurance to remain faithful and trustworthy to God. So how long can you keep up?
