TV host Morayo Brown’s husband, Femi Afolabi Brown, has commented on the ongoing conflict between P-Square brothers Peter and Jude Okoye, saying that before extending forgiveness, he would make sure that every kobo owed to him was recovered.
Speaking with his wife, Morayo Brown, on a Brown Couch episode, Femi was asked from a Christian point of view what he thot would be the best way to resolve the conflict, particularly with regard to forgiveness.
Responding to questions from his wife, Femi said, “In my own Christian mind, I will collect all my money back first. I will collect my money back. And I will forgive, and I will forget. I can forgive and forget, but I will continue to pursue my money.
“That money is his future. That’s the future of his children. That’s the school fees of his children, the comfort of his children. Will he now let it go? That’s his sweat. That’s what he worked for. His earnings, legitimately his, to take care of him, his wife and his children, his children’s children.”
He said “Money that is over $2 million, based on the little calculation I have done by the available information? I can’t let 2 million dollars go o. No. I can’t. I will take it. Whatever I can take. Sell everything you have. Bring all the money in your account. Whatever you can pay out of that $2 million, but I will make sure.
“Because the Bible says that if a thief steals and is caught, he will replenish. He will pay back in sevenfold. Even the Bible says thieves must pay back. Thieves must pay back. So they are meant to pay back. Asking them to pay back is Christian. Do you understand? That’s what the Bible says. Pay back” he added.
Asked what he would say to Jude if they met, he replied “I can’t. I won’t. I can never have a conversation with Jude. God forbid. If I see somebody like that coming, I go another way. God forbid that we interact or interface. Never. How?”
Everyone seems to have their own opinions and thoughts about this family feud, with one or two things to say. Amidst the controversy, let’s remember them in our prayers and hope for a peaceful and swift resolution to their differences.
