Ezekiel 16:1-15,60,63
Isaiah 12
Matthew 19:3-12

OUR VOCATION IS AN EXPRESSION OF GOD’S TRINITARIAN LOVE

Today’s gospel passage emphasizes the enduring nature of God’s merciful love and the call for individuals to love as Christ did, exemplified by His sacrifice. It includes a discussion on the divine purpose of marriage and highlights the challenges that can arise in maintaining a vibrant and fulfilling marital union.

More importantly, the gospel passage also underscores the role of prayer, enduring faithfulness, and forgiveness in fostering unity and reflecting the love of God within the context of any vocation. It concludes with a desire for inward transformation and the enlivening of life’s experiences.

May Jesus the Bridegroom transform our inner life, our way of being and the circumstances; turning water into wine through the initiative and intercession of Mary and that which was colorless be made vibrant red. That which had no taste now tingles the tongue. That which had no fragrance now has a full bouquet. That which had no life start fermenting, active, and alive. Amen.
