SECURE YOUR STEWARDSHIP

The Christian life challenges us to have the courage to swim against the current and love with Jesus’ passion—a love so deep that He sacrificed Himself on the Cross. In today’s parable, the steward went to great lengths to protect his position, reminding us of the efforts we must make for what truly matters. Reflecting on St. Augustine’s wisdom, we see that earthly riches are just a means to secure the eternal treasures that await us. If some abandon integrity for temporary material gain, how much more must we, as Christians, dedicate ourselves to securing our eternal happiness with worldly goods! Today’s Gospel reminds us: all wealth, possessions, and talents are divine gifts. It’s our duty to be wise, humble, and generous stewards—using these gifts not only for personal gain but for the greater good and God’s glory.
