German Football Coach, Helge Rasche D!es In A Car Crash

Helge Rasche, the head coach of Eintracht Frankfurt’s Under-19 team, passed away, the German football club has revealed.

The Bundesliga team announced this morning that the 33-year-old passed away this morning in an automobile accident that occurred on Thursday, September 5.

In a statement posted on social media, the club wrote: “Eintracht Frankfurt is devastated by the loss of U19 head coach Helge Rasche.

“The 33-year-old lost his life in a traffic accident yesterday. Our thoughts are with his family and friends.”

German rivals Borussia Dortmund replied to the post, writing: “We too mourn the loss of Helge Rasche and would like to express our deepest sympathy.

“Our thoughts are with him, his family and loved ones. Rest in peace.”

Rasche was reportedly driving a white Hyundai on a road southwest of Frankfurt, between Dietzenbach and Rodgau, according to BILD.

According to the publication, his vehicle lost control at a crossroads leading to a gravel works and collided with a tree.

Images that BILD was able to collect demonstrated that the Hyundai was totaled following the collision, with the front end collapsing.

He allegedly suffered severe injuries in the crash and passed away there.

The news of Rasche’s passing reached the Frankfurt players on Thursday.

In 2020, Rasche became part of the Eintracht youth department.

He was elevated to the position of head coach of the U17 and U19 squads in the youth Bundesliga in 2023.

He missed five games this season in the U19 youth league (Group D), where they finished second with 10 points.

Rasche had been getting his team ready for their September 14 home matchup against Darmstadt 98.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
