Henry Okojie Escapes Ass@ssination Attempt By Political Thugs

An alleged attempt to kill Henry Okojie husband of Nollywood actress Mercy Johnson representing the Esan North-East/Esan South-East Federal Constituency in Edo State, was thwarted by security officers.

The men were recognized as armed individuals who were thought to be political goons.

On Friday, September 20, media assistant Michael Ihaza confirmed the news in a statement. He said that gunmen in a Lexus GX 470 with the Rivers State license plate PHC 253 FF attacked Okojie, the spouse of actress Mercy Johnson, at his home.

“The armed thugs who disguised as police officers along with two others, invaded the residence of Hon. Okojie, claimed to be on appointment and proceeded to the seating room.
“Following the intervention of the security personnel attached to the lawmaker, two of the armed thugs fled leaving behind the driver and another who are currently being interrogated by officers from the Area Command of the Nigeria Police Force, Uromi.”

Thank God they did not succeed with their evil plans.
