Here What Falz Has To Say About His Childhood Memories

Folarin Falana better known as Falz, Nigerian rapper and actor, has recounted attending church because he wanted to see girls.

In a Netflix documentary entitled Made In Lagos: Africa, Falz spoke on his life, career, inspiration and the impact his father, Femi Falana has on the society.

He revealed that he used to go to Anglican Church of Ascension in Opebi, Lagos state because a friend informed him that there were fine girls.

The activist said that he was never in the church choir but he used to play drums in church at a point in his life.

According to him, almost every place he went to, people always had good stories to tell about his dad.

He said most of the stories dwelt on Mr Falana saving people in difficult situations both in school and everyday life.

The singer also talked about his mum being very disciplined and trying to instill it in her children.

He said that his father is a hero and he does not necessarily need to fit into his shoes, but he has succeeded in his chosen field and now he has bragging rights.

Falz further revealed that late Afrobeats pioneer, Fela Anikulapo Kuti was someone who was a huge source of inspiration while growing up.

He recounted times when his father would be driving them out in his Peugeot and Fela’s records would be playing in the car stereo.

Childhood is the best of all the seasons of life, and the longer it lasts with happy memories, the stronger the emotional stability in adulthood.
