Israel Warns Lebanon Of Prospect Of ‘All-Out War’

Israel has warned Hezbollah of the possibility of a “all-out war,” after the Lebanese terrorist group released a nine-minute video that appeared to have been recorded by a drone and showed Israeli military and civilian positions in numerous Israeli cities.

“We are getting very close to the moment of deciding to change the rules of the game against Hezbollah and Lebanon,” Israeli Foreign Minister Israel Katz said in a statement on X.

“In an all-out war, Hezbollah will be destroyed, and Lebanon severely beaten,” he added.

The afternoon footage from Hezbollah depicts Krayot, a collection of “highly populated” residential communities with malls and high-rises located 28 kilometres (17 miles) south of the Lebanese border and north of the Israeli city of Haifa.

The video also included a view of an Israeli weapons company Rafael’s military facility close to Haifa, which included Iron Dome batteries, radar and missile storage facilities, military vessels, ships, and oil storage depots in the port of Haifa.

Hezbollah has declared that the video is the “first episode,” implying that further footage from well within Israeli territory will eventually surface.

The video’s release comes after months of Hezbollah and Israel stepping up their cross-border operations in response to the Hamas attacks on October 7.

Following the release of the video, Yona Yahav, the mayor of Haifa, called it “psychological terror” and asked that his city be given security measures.

“I demand that the government present a plan for the massive defence of Haifa and find a military solution to eliminate the threat posed from the north,” Yahav told Israeli radio station Reshet Bet.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
