Oba Adeyeye Enitan Ogunwusi, the Ooni of Ife, is now the proud father of twins, much to his followers’ delight.
The famous Yoruba ruler and one of his younger wives, Queen Tobi Phillips, welcomed twins, a boy and a girl.
The Ooni took to his own Instagram page to share the exciting news of his growing home with his fans.
According to the Yoruba ruler, Queen Tobi gave birth to twins on Saturday, March 16, 2024. He also stated that she had welcomed a prince and a princess.
The Ooni gave an update on the health of the new mother and their children. He says they’re all doing well.
In his words: “To God be the glory, great things he has done. Hearty congratulations to the entire House of Oduduwa and Olori Tobiloba, who today birthed a Prince and Princess to the Royal throne of Oduduwa. Mother and children are doing well to the glory of God Almighty.”
