Nigerians on social media have congratulated musician David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, and his girlfriend, Chioma Rowland after news broke out that the duo are finally married.
Following the passing of their son, Ifeanyi Adeleke, the couple and their family have reportedly gone through a difficult period.
According to a Nigerian gossip blog, ‘Gistlovers’, the singer secretly wed Chioma after the passing of their child.
Only a few family members were rumoured to have attended the traditional wedding, which was held in his dad’s house, while cameras were not allowed.
The blog also claimed that Chioma’s bride price was been paid in full.
Remember that Davido had announced he would wed Chioma in 2023. However, after the catastrophe, he did it right away.
A traditional wedding was organised on November 6th to comfort Chioma and reassure her of her status with Davido.
The couple’s wedding registration is reported to take place sometime next week, however, they are still grieving the loss of their son.
