Justin Bieber Shares Update On Battle With Ramsay Hunt Syndrome

Living with a long-term condition can make someone vulnerable but once you move beyond the initial shock of your diagnosis, it’s helpful to learn how to cope with the daily stresses of living with your illness.

Justin Bieber has shared an update on his current battle with Ramsay Hunt syndrome, which – as he told fans over the weekend – has temporarily paralyzed the entire right side of his face.

Recall that last Saturday (June 11), Bieber posted a video explaining that he had recently been diagnosed with a rare condition, which, According to the Mayo Clinic, “occurs when an outbreak of shingles affects the facial nerve near one of your ears”. In his video, Bieber can be seen struggling to wink, smile, or move his right nostril.

Bieber assured fans that his facial paralysis will subside over time, and according to a new update shared via his Instagram Story, he is recovering. “Each day has gotten better,” he said, adding that his Christian faith has helped him cope with the disease.

He continued: “In Him who created me and knows me, I find comfort in all my troubles. I remember that he knows me all. he is public[s] The darkest parts of me that I wish no one knew about him and he constantly welcomes me in his lovely arms. This approach has brought me peace during the severe storm I am facing. I know this storm will pass but in the meantime, Jesus is with me.”

As a result of his condition, Bieber was forced to postpone the opening portion of his North American ‘Justice’ tour. He broke that news before revealing his facial paralysis, citing an unspecified “illness” at the time.

Although he declined to confirm which (or how many) shows would be affected by the postponement, Bieber said he would “use this time to just relax and unwind, and get back to 100 percent so that [he] What can we do [he] was born to do”. New dates for the postponed North American show are yet to be confirmed.

The ‘Justice’ world tour has been rescheduled three times so far, stemming from its original 2020 iteration as the ‘Change’ Tour. There was a further delay earlier this year when Bieber tested positive for COVID-19.

He is set to do six shows in Europe from next month to August, followed by performances in South America, South Africa, India, Southeast Asia, Japan, and Australia for the remainder of 2022. Next February, he will bring ‘Nyay’. UK tour to run 11 shows.

We hope you get better soon, Justin.
