Kano State Governor Abba Yusuf has formally re-joined the All Progressives Congress (APC). On Monday, Yusuf defected to the ruling party inside Kano Government House’s Coronation Hall.
He was welcomed into the party by former APC National Chairman and former governor of Kano State, Abdullahi Ganduje; the Deputy President of the Senate; Senator Barau Jibrin, who represents Kano South; Yusuf Ata, the Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development; and other party leaders.
The governor stated that the necessity to collaborate more closely with the Federal Government, led by President Bola Tinubu, was the driving force for his decision to rejoin the APC. Remember that Yusuf was chosen on the platform.
