The 45-year-old comic disclosed on The Jennifer Hudson Show that he completely stopped wearing jeans after reaching 40 in favor of more comfortable options like slacks and pants.

“I’m over 40. I feel like a good pant is necessary,” Hart explained. “Jeans are not the same. Jeans hurt, and are not comfortable.”

Hart went into further detail about his distaste for jeans, highlighting certain discomforts they bring. He also complained that jeans often hurt his knees and feel particularly uncomfortable around the waistband.

“I need something that I can move in and something that’s soft. When you sit down, I don’t like how jeans dig into my waist. I don’t like that,” he tells Hudson.

Instead, he prefers slacks with soft waistbands, which provide a more relaxed and comfortable fit.

In response to host Jennifer Hudson’s question about when people should start wearing pants instead of jeans, Hart boldly stated that his transitional age was 40.

Funny enough, he went on to say that he intends to switch to sweatpants completely by the time he becomes fifty, adopting an even more casual style. Hart’s remarks show how his priorities have changed as he gets older, favoring comfort over flair in his wardrobe selections.

His humorous approach struck a chord with many viewers, particularly those who understand how uncomfortable wearing pants can be as one age.

Gentle Reminder: Take care not to assume that your strength is the reason you are standing. The one whom God keeps is the one who is kept.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
