Electronic music was being played at “excessive volume” at all times by a man from Barcelona, Spain, who was recently found guilty. This caused his next-door neighbours a great deal of inconvenience, according to “El Diario.”

According to reports, the man played his music so loudly that the walls and other things in the house vibrated, terrorizing those who lived in the neighboring house. As a result of the person’s boisterous activities, this family essentially couldn’t sleep for five years.

One allegedly became anxious from the frequent loud noise, which made it difficult for them to perform daily duties.

“Both the couple who lived next door and the sister of one of the victims testified at the trial about the harmful effects that the noise had, especially on their parents, who were already elderly and suffering from various illnesses, and also residents of the house,” “El Diario” reported.

A woman claimed that she could not withstand the annoying noise and that even her bones were trembling.

The police claim that from 2012 to 2017, this careless man played music louder than what was permitted by environmental standards. Angry neighbors repeatedly requested help from the local police, but he continued.

He additionally disregarded numerous police visits. Additionally, he disregarded the municipality’s councillor for the environment warning from 2014.

He was given a one-year, three-month prison term for a “crime against the environment” and ordered to pay his victims €18,000 in restitution.
