Motherhood: At What Age should I Introduce To My Child A SmartPhone? 6

Hello, Great Mothers!

According to a ‘Gohenry’ report, Ofcom research shows that 93% of children aged 12 to 15 own a mobile phone.

The use of smartphones among our children has both advantages and disadvantages, and the impact is largely determined by how they are utilized. As previously stated, we can choose whether to give our children a smartphone or a basic phone. However, today’s teenagers, in particular, prefer smartphones. This preference may stem from peer pressure or the appealing features that make it advantageous, albeit with increased risks if proper monitoring is not implemented.

This article will continue our exploration of the benefits of smartphones for our children.

Organization

Our children may need help remembering all their tasks in a day. Smartphones come with a basic calendar app that they can use to keep track of their tasks. Also, note-taking apps can be installed on tier phones to help them record their assignments and other tasks they need to do.

Finance Tracking

In the present day, mobile banking has made it easier for everyone to bank easily without physical appearance at the bank. Children can easily open accounts, save, and monitor their finances via mobile banking. Also, there are apps that we can install that can help us monitor our children’s spending, and this helps them stay on track with their saving goals. This also gives them a sense of responsibility.

Social Contacts:

With smartphones, kids have the opportunity to interact with their friends, thereby developing basic communication skills, either through phone calls, chatting, or text messaging. Many have been able to still connect and maintain good relationships with their friends even after graduating from school or relocating. This has contributed to a decrease in social isolation.

God notices your dedication to caring for your home; He will bless you accordingly. So, be joyful, for a happy mother nurtures a happy home.

Bye!
