Your Son Was Born With Purpose” — Helping Him Discover And Nurture His God-Given Gifts (B)

Every big dream starts with a small seed. But dreams don’t grow by luck. They grow by intention. If we want our sons to succeed, we must teach them the habits that water their purpose: discipline, focus, and follow-through.
Let him understand early: “You won’t always feel like doing the hard stuff—but doing it anyway? That’s what makes you different.”
Help him set small daily goals. Whether it’s studying a bit longer, practicing his skill, or finishing a project—small steps build big futures.
Share stories of real people who stayed focused, even when they face challenges. Tyler Perry once lived in his car—but he wrote and produced his first plays anyway. He stayed committed when no one clapped. But now many clap for him to celebrate him for impacting the world through his plays.
Even in Scripture, Joseph stayed focused through betrayal and prison, holding on to the dream God gave him. And in the end? Purpose won.
Teach your son the power of time. Help him trade some screen time for dream time. Talk to him about managing distractions, setting priorities, and staying focused.
Mothers, let’s learn to celebrate every little progress our sons make, not just perfection. If he makes an effort, notice it. If he fails, encourage him to rise and try again.
Help him believe that his dream is real and achievable—and his future is worth the effort.
The plans of the diligent lead surely to abundance.” – Proverbs 21:5
You’re not just a mother—you’re a nurturer. Help your son discover and grow into the man God created him to be.
