Netflix Increases Nigerian Subscription Fee To N7,000

Netflix has made a pricing change announcement for its Nigerian subscribers. The Premium Plan was previously priced at N5,000 per month, but it is now set at N7,000.

With the implementation of the most recent price rise in April of this year, this is the platform’s second price adjustment in three months.

Whether any alerts were sent out before the membership price change is still up for debate at the time this report was submitted. It was pointed out that the higher costs are already apparent on Netflix’s subscription page.

Additionally, the Standard plan membership now costs N5,500 instead of N4,000.

According to the price update on the company’s website, the Standard plan subscription, which is popular among Nigerian subscribers for its HD quality and multi-screen viewing options, has been increased from N4,000 to N5,500. This represents a 37.5 per cent increment.

Basically, there’s no good reason for Netflix to raise prices again. Increasing price at a time like this is wrong.
