Nigeria At A Crossroads: The Rising Cost Of Living And The Fight For Survival

Good evening all! Today, I want to talk about something that’s weighing heavily on all our hearts.

Life seems to be at a standstill, day in, day out. Simple things like cooking have become a challenge. Gas prices have skyrocketed—per kg now costs a staggering #2400 Naira! Can you imagine?

I remember those days when a kg of gas was just #300, or even less. There was a time it rose to #500, and even then, life was still manageable. We used to buy gas at #3000 for 6kg , and life was smooth. We felt secure, we could cook comfortably, and our families were happy.

But today? Today, many people can’t afford that luxury. The poor can’t even buy gas to prepare their meals. Some revert to charcoal, wood, or sticks just to put food on the table.

It’s heartbreaking. We voted for change, for better days, but what’s really happening? Do they have our welfare at heart?

Our leaders promised us a brighter future, but the reality is harsh. The poor man struggles to get three square meals a day, let alone cook conveniently. It’s a tough time, but I pray that God hears our cries, that He smiles on Nigeria, and makes life easier for us all.

Let’s stand together, stay hopeful, and keep praying for a Nigeria where everyone can thrive. Thank you, and may God help us all.

Live with Purpose, Love with Passion. Remember to be happy
