In response to criticism from social media users, actress Nkechi Blessing has defended her use of artificial intelligence (AI) to market her business, claiming she has every right to do so.
The actress asked why people were upset about her choice to use AI for advertising in an Instagram post that contrasted an original image with an AI-generated version.
Addressing her critics, she wrote: “Why Una Dey cry abeg? The fact that you don’t use AI to advertise your business shouldn’t be my problem… Original image versus AI-generated… why exactly are you people crying?”
“I should not sell my market cus hungry trolls like you don’t have filters on your phone? I never tell Una before say nothing fit make me stop using filters?”
“If e pain Una too much enter road make motto run you over, are you people mad?” she wrote.
I truly believe that people should allow Nkechi Blessing to pursue whatever she wants to do to boost her work. Using filters or any other tools to enhance her content is her personal choice and should not be anyone’s business or judgment. Everyone has the right to express themselves and explore new ways to grow, and it’s time we respect her creative decisions without unnecessary criticism.
