Osun Election: Davido Reveals Why He Supported His Uncle

Popular Nigerian musician Davido has explained why he actively supported his uncle, Senator Ademola Adeleke, in the race for governor of Osun State.

Following the Osun election on Saturday, Adeleke was proclaimed the winner after defeating sitting Governor Gboyega Oyetola with 404,371 votes.

Davido, who has been leading his uncle’s campaign and inspiring his followers, claimed he did so because family is vital to him.

The “OBO” singer added that Adeleke is the ideal candidate for the position in a post-win interview.

Davido said, “I campaigned for my Uncle because to me family is everything and we are the best people for the job.”
