Adesina Adeyemi-Doro, the All Progressives Grand Alliance candidate, announced on Saturday that she supports Bola Oyebamiji, the All Progressives Congress candidate running for governor on August 15.
On the fringes of a program called “Osun Youth Interactive Session with Oyebamiji,” which was hosted by the APC Campaign Council in Osogbo, the APGA candidate declared his intention to resign for Oyebamiji.
After consulting with APGA executives and members throughout the state, Adeyemi-Doro told reporters that the party had come to an agreement with the APC and decided to withdraw from the race.
“As we join His Excellency Asiwaju Bola Oyebamiji and the All Progressives Congress, APC, I am here today to publicly declare our loyalty, support, and cooperation to the good people of Osun State.
Ultimately, the focus should remain on choosing the most capable and competent leader. Let the best candidate emerge victorious, ensuring that the future of Osun is in capable hands and that the will of the people is truly represented.
Live with Purpose, Love with Passion. Remember to be happy
