In a shocking twist that has shook both the religious and secular communities, Nigerian Police Force Criminal Investigation Department (FCID) operatives are reportedly questioning Pastor Bolaji Idowu, the Lead Pastor of Harvesters International Christian Center (HICC), in Abuja on charges of real estate fraud and money laundering.
According to an exclusive revelation by SaharaReporters, which cites high-ranking police sources, Pastor Idowu’s detention marks the start of what appears to be a high-profile probe into his financial operations.
According to sources familiar with the situation, the preacher, known for his dynamic ministry and motivational sermons, is now being questioned at the FCID headquarters in the Federal Capital Territory.
“The Next Level Prayer Conference, Pastor Bolaji Idowu, has been arrested by the police, and he is being grilled in Abuja over real estate fraud and money laundering,” a top police source said, quotes by SaharaReporters.
“He is at the FCID Abuja as we speak,” another source added.
