Peggy Ovire, a Nollywood actress, has publicly criticized Frederick Leonard, her estranged husband, for allegedly having an affair with a married woman and postponing their divorce.
In a post on her Instagram story, the actress made the accusations that Frederick was the one who filed for divorce but neglected to show up in court after receiving the required paperwork.
She wrote:
“You said you wanted a divorce, yet you didn’t show up when you were served. Please don’t avoid the customary court for the 2nd time on June 23rd, because I’m coming with receipts, and let’s get this divorce done and dusted.”
“So called traditional Igbo man with another Igbo man’s wife with 4 children, you ran to a blogger that I was lying but when you were served & saw details of my petition, you knew I had seen 1 out of many, yet refused to show up in court but sent your lawyer.”
I believe they should approach this situation with maturity and respect. We’ve seen many celebrities who have gone through divorce without dragging each other publicly, setting a better example for their fans and the public. It’s important to handle personal matters privately and gracefully, demonstrating that maturity can prevail even in challenging times.
