The late Nollywood actor Junior Pope Odonwodo has received Peter Obi’s final respects.
Pope died in April following a boat mishap in Asaba, Delta state, on the River Niger.
On Friday, he was laid to rest at Nsukka, Enugu state’s Igbo-Etiti LGA Ukehe. Saint Peter’s Catholic Church had a funeral ceremony. The Labour Party (LP) presidential candidate for 2023 announced his arrival in Enugu on Saturday morning in a post via X.
Obi said that he visited the actor’s family to “personally and sincerely condole” with them.
The former governor shared photos of himself dressed in an all-black attire. He is seen in the company of Kenneth Okonkwo, the actor-turned-politician.
Sending healing prayers and comfort to his family during this tough time.
