Singer Peter Okoye, better known by his stage name Mr. P, has officially declared that he will no longer celebrate his birthday on November 18.
In a message sent to family, friends, and fans via X on Monday, April 20, the artist revealed that the long-celebrated date would no longer be recognized for festivities.
He explained that his celebration would now take place on November 30 and that he would not be taking birthday wishes or presents on November 18.
“Dear Family, Friends, and Fans, I’m making it official. November 18th is no longer my birthday celebration date. Please note that I will not be accepting any messages or gifts on that day.
“My birthday will now be celebrated on November 30th. This is a personal decision, and I truly appreciate your understanding. Thank you all”.
Peter Okoye and his twin brother, Paul Okoye, were both born on November 18, 1981, and have historically shared the same birthday.
In making this change, Peter Okoye aims to establish his individual identity and ensure he distinguishes himself from his twin brother. By officially setting a new birthday, he seeks to carve out his own unique path and solidify his personal brand, emphasizing his independence and individuality in the entertainment industry.
