Lord, I want to thank you for being so patient with me. I feel I mess up so often, yet you are faithful to forgive and love me. I know there is nothing that can separate me from your love.
In developing more patience in my life. Sometimes I lose it. I know that patience is a virtue that is essential for living a peaceful and fulfilling life, but it is something that I struggle with. I pray you take away my need to control my situation and turn everything over to you.
So I come to you today seeking your help.
Please give me the strength and the courage to be patient in everything, even when things are difficult or when I face challenges and setbacks. Help me to remember that everything has its own time and that your timing is perfect.
I pray that you will allow me to wait on you and trust in your plan for my life, even when I don’t understand it. Help me be patient with others and show kindness and understanding even when they are difficult to deal with.
I know I cannot do this alone, and I humbly ask for your help and guidance as I strive to become more patient. I place my hand in your hand and trust you will be a constant reminder when I start to take over situations. Amen.
