Singer Spyro has described the personal guidelines that direct his music career, stating that he upholds stringent standards regarding partnerships, behavior on screen, and the type of content he is associated with.
In a recent TVC interview, the singer stated that he doesn’t allow smoking or nudity in the videos he appears in and steers clear of collaborating with artists whose work promotes offensive themes.
“You can’t be in a video with me and you’re smoking. That can’t happen. You can’t be in a video with me and you’re naked. That won’t happen. I have rules and regulations to working with people.”
“I can’t be on a song that is not clean, to start with.”
“When I did ‘Sweet’ with Shoday, Shoday was promoting it in some funny kind of way, and I called him. I said, ‘Shoday, give your life to Christ.’ And he said I should continue my own while he faces his.”
“Even if he’s not with Christ, he’s coming to Christ. Until every knee shall bow and every tongue shall confess that Jesus Christ is Lord. That’s why I’m in this industry. It’s a gradual process.”
Everyone has their own beliefs and values that guide their choices. I really appreciate that Spyro stands firm on his principles and consistently follows them. It shows integrity and a strong sense of character, which is truly commendable.
