Tems Shares Her Alternative Career Path If Not A Musician

Nigerian singer Temilade Openiyi, better known by her stage name as Tems, has revealed the career path she would have chosen if she hadn’t chosen to become a musician.

Tems revealed that if she hadn’t been a musician, she would have been an accountant or a math teacher during an interactive fan session on X on Tuesday.

“If music didn’t work, what else do you think you would be doing today?,” a fan asked.

Tems responded, “I might have been an accountant or a mathematics teacher.”

The singer, who has won many Grammy Awards, recently disclosed that she left her position as a digital marketer in January 2018 in order to concentrate on her musical career.

In July 2018, she dropped her first single, “Mr. Rabel.” In Nigeria, the song became rather popular.
