Tinubu Has Done Well. Nigeria Is So Complex – Buhari Says

According to former Nigerian President Muhammadu Buhari, President Bola Tinubu has performed excellently for the country considering the conditions that existed when he took office in May 2023.

Speaking on Sunday, March 10, in Daura, Katsina state, during his reception with the comptroller-general and members of the Nigerian Customs Service (NCS) management team, Buhari noted that leading Nigeria is a difficult task for anyone. He urged Nigerians to put up with the nation’s economic suffering in order to support the policies and initiatives of the current government.

“I thank you very much for coming. I very much appreciate it. I thought Tinubu has done very well. Nigeria is so complex. Really, there isn’t much anybody can do.” Buhari said.

Some Nigerians have harshly condemned President Tinubu for the policies his government has implemented, particularly the withdrawal of petrol subsidies and the unification of the currency rate, which have resulted in skyrocketing inflation and economic misery.

A Gentle Reminder: Every obstacle is a stepping stone, every morning; a chance to go again, and those little steps take you closer to your dream.
