Tinubu Receives Ghana’s President Mahama In Abuja

John Mahama, the president of Ghana, was welcomed by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the State House in Abuja on Thursday.

Since his inauguration on January 7, 2025, Mahama has made his first official appearance at the Presidential Villa.

In addition to talking about important regional concerns within the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS), both presidents are anticipated to concentrate on enhancing diplomatic relations between Nigeria and Ghana.

Tinubu traveled to Mahama in Accra shortly after winning the December 2024 presidential election.

The president of Nigeria said he was confident in his ability to lead the region toward cooperation and peace.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
