Toyosi Warns Women Against Wearing Skimpy Attire To Church

Toyosi, the spouse of actor David Etim Effiong, implored women to dress modestly when they attend religious sessions.

Toyosi stressed on her Instagram page that ladies are urged to dress modestly because the church is a hallowed space where one is certain to experience God.

Her words: “My gender please nau, let’s dress differently to church. The cloth for Zaza is not the cloth for church. Church is supposed to be a holy ground. A place where you’re (supposed to be) GUARANTEED to meet with GOD – your creator, the King that earthly kings bow to, the One your bosses acknowledge as the ALMIGHTY! Why does it seem like you show these people more respect in your dressing than you show your GOD? Is church about GOD or about something else? and if is about both Him and something else, what is priority? Happy Sunday.”

1 Corinthians 6:19 – Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. Since our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit, we are not to show off our bodies in a way that is not pleasing to God. We are to bring glory to God with our bodies.

Today's Quote

“Here’s to the crazy ones. The misfits. The rebels. The troublemakers. The round pegs in the square holes. The ones who see things differently. They’re not fond of rules. And they have no respect for the status quo. You can quote them, disagree with them, glorify or vilify them. About the only thing you can’t do is ignore them. Because they change things. They push the human race forward. And while some may see them as the crazy ones, we see genius. Because the people who are crazy enough to think they can change the world, are the ones who do.”
