This is the first time Vinicius Junior has spoken since signing a new six-year contract with Real Madrid.
The 26-year-old’s future was still up in the air, particularly since his previous contract was coming to an end.
Mikel Arteta picked Vinicius Jr. to strengthen his left wing, and Arsenal was very interested in him.
Vinicius Jr. eventually reached new terms with Madrid despite rumors that he was interested in joining the Premier League winners.
The Brazilian has now stated that his eight years with Los Blancos were insufficient and that he wishes to play for them going forward.
“Eight years at the Bernabeu is too short…six more years and forever,” Vinicius posted on his Instagram story.”
Vinicius Jr is undeniably a very talented player, whose skills and passion on the field are truly impressive. I am confident that Real Madrid recognizes his value and would never want to let such a talented player go. His future at the club looks very promising, and fans can be assured that he will continue to make a significant impact for years to come.
